The World’s Largest Six Flags
You may have been to a Six Flags park before in other parts of the word, but Six Flags Qiddiya promises to be unlike any other.
Expected to open in 2025, Six Flags Qiddiya will be a beacon of family fun and record-breaking rides. With an enormous site, there will be six separately themed sections of Qiddiya Six Flags, including Steam Town, Twilight Gardens, Discovery Springs, City Thrills, Valley of Fortune, and Grand Exposition.
Beyond the dazzling environment, fun activities, and foods, Six Flags Qiddiya will have ground-breaking theme park rides to get your heart pumping.
The top attraction will be Six Flag Qiddiya’s most dramatic ride, Falcon’s Flight.
This ride will stretch nearly 4 kilometers, featuring speeds of up to 155mph and towering at over 500 feet high.
If you’re looking for the highest-energy, most exhilarating ride on the planet, you need to ride Falcon’s Flight.
A Luxury Waterpark
The most innovative waterpark on the planet will be in Qiddiya. This waterpark will be the only one offering both wet and dry rides, with responsible water usage.
The waterpark has a budget of $750 million dollars, so you can know that no expense will be spared. The park will feature many themed zones, spanning over 250,000 square miles, so you can explore and get fully immersed in the fun.
When you need a break from playing in the water, riding the different rides, or relaxing by the pool, you can check out the 17 different outlets for food and beverage.
Even in this enormous waterpark, sustainability will not be forgotten! With all of its water attractions, water will not be wasted. The waterpark has been designed to minimize water usage through water recycling and smart usage practices.
In fact, some rides will use only 25% of the water required by similar rides in existing water parks.
The Next Big Thing in Motorsports
With the popularity of motorsports rising and the height of luxury, Qiddiya will include the development of several race circuits.
These luxurious race venues will provide locations for tournaments and races throughout the year. When the circuits are not in use, they will house educational facilities for racing education, so the space is never unused.
These plans further bolster Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, the President of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation’s president, to build luxurious infrastructure for racing in Saudi Arabia.
If you’re familiar with motorsports, you might recognize similarities between these Qiddiya Speed Park plans and Monaco’s famous street circuit.
The Speed Park will have an FIA grade 1 racetrack, with karting, driving experiences, and lots of high-action activities. While the schedule for the Speed Park’s events won’t be announced until closer to its completion date, it is bound to be a top-rate destination for racing fans.
Sports, Adventure and More
Beyond these high-energy attractions, Qiddiya will have centers for sports, arts, and culture as well. With all of these activities, there will be something for everyone, so it’s no wonder that Qiddiya is expected to pull 17 million visitors every year.
For arts attractions, you can expect world-class cinemas, performing arts venues, and plazas.
For sports fans, you will be greeted with a Jack Nicklaus championship golf course, beautiful practice facilities, and a cliff-top stadium with space for more than 40,000 spectators. Truly, there will be no better place to explore lots of different activities, both sporting and performances.
