Once you dive into The Red Sea Project, you’ll discover one of its most impressive island: Amaala.
Amaala will bring luxury tourism and travel to a new level, featuring the unparalleled natural landscape. The island consists of nearly 4,200 square kilometers of untouched land with breathtaking views.
Discerning luxury travelers will have Amaala on their list soon enough; keep reading to see why it should be on your list as well!
Personalized Luxury Tourism
Within the islands of The Red Sea Project, Amaala will be one of the most treasured vacation locations available in NEOM. Amaala is an ultra-luxury island, which invites guests to take impactful personal growth journeys, inspired by arts, wellness, and the Red Sea’s purity.
Amaala will elevate tourism and sustainability efforts while helping guests find their best selves.
Amaala meets the needs of today’s luxury tourists, by building avenues for them to take authentic and immersive journeys toward self-discovery.
This naturally complements the larger vision of NEOM, which asks modern society to find better, more sustainable ways to live to the fullest and appreciate the planet’s natural beauty.
The Best in Architecture
The vision of Amaala will be crafted by three of the world’s leading firms in architecture and design, Foster + Partners, Denniston International Architects and Planners, and HSK Architects.
Amaala spans over 4,000 square kilometers of wonderful, flowing terrain.
Carved by years of natural interactions with the ocean and surrounding environment, the architecture on the island will complement the already-existing beauty of the island.
These leading firms have created innovative, sustainable design solutions and luxury accommodations across the island. One such accommodation is the highly anticipated Equinox Resort Amaala.
The Equinox Hotel
The Equinox Hotel, taking its name from the luxury lifestyle brand, is the first announced hotel of Amaala.
Designed by the British firm, Foster + Partners, the Equinox Resort Amaala will be part of the Amaala Marina Village. It will feature nearly 130 rooms, including two luxurious penthouses.
The resort will include many top-tier amenities, including a magnesium-salt rooftop pool and four open courtyards, reminiscent of traditional Saudi Arabian architecture.
The Equinox brand translates beautifully into this hotel concept, creating opportunities for guests to work towards self-improvement, get back in touch with nature, or relax with loved ones.
As with much of NEOM, the Equinox Resort will highlight architecture in harmony with nature. The plans feature a circular “floating” canopy, bound to stun guests, as guests enter the resort, either by boat or by car.
Plan Your Getaway in Amaala
Many hotels, including the Equinox Resort Amaala, will be housed within the larger development of Amaala’s Marina Village and the Hijaz Cove.
Within the greater development of Red Sea Global’s Triple Bay, the Equinox Resort will be just one of 29 hotels and 1,200 luxury villas on the property.
Phase 1 of this incredible project will be complete in 2024, so you can start your planning right now!
